ScriptThis is a featured page

Script Pages The text document that is the basis for a film shoot. This includes descriptions of characters, locations, props, action/blocking, as well as the dialog.

A properly formated script will yield approximately one minute of final screen time for every page.

Scripts go through several versions as the process moves along. Once on set the script becomes a "Shooting Script". There is technically a difference between a Script and a Screenplay (a Script could be for any kind of production but a Screenplay is for a visual medium like film), but the words are used interchangably by all but the most elitest filmmakers.
