Green ScreenThis is a featured page

A solid green background used to allow a computer to key out the unwanted background and allow another image or visual to be added in later. A green screen is typically employed for digital video because of the larger range of information in the green spectrum.

Any color could be used as a key (even black or white), but green is chosen frequently because it is not common in skin tones or clothes.

see also Blue Screen.
