Glass MasterThis is a featured page

When a CD or DVD is submitted for Replication, the replication house creates a Glass Master from the submitted Master disk (or disks). This mold is then used to "press" the disks, imbedding into the plastic the desired data image. This leads to far more compatibility because the information is physically etched into the disk, as opposed to Duplication which merely changes the color of the CD or DVD data layer.
