The measurement of an Aperture setting on a camera. The smaller the nemericalnumerical value of the F-Stop (e.g. 2) the larger the opening. Larger F-Stop values indicates a smaller Aperture and thus, less light. So you would use a smaller F-Stop for low-light situations and a larger F-Stop for brighter locations.
