After you have captured your image it's time to manipulate it and make it even better. This is the art of "photoshopping". Gone are the days of darkrooms and chemicals. Say hello to the digital revolution.

Even if you don't have Photoshop, that does not mean you are without good tools. GIMP is a fantastic option to those who don't have the means to purchase Adobe's amazing program.

There are many different ways to go about enhancing your image, and what tools you use is entirely dependent on what you want your image to look like in the end. The wide variety of Filters available to you allow you to accomplish just about any look you want.

Once you have cleaned up, adjusted, added to, removed from, enhanced, edited, and otherwise manipulated your image, it is time to present it to the world. It's time to figure out what kind of Compression you want, and what file type and size is going to be best for you. When you are ready to send your beautiful image on to its more perminant form you bascially have two options: Web Quality and Print Quality.
