Audio/Video Any media/interface that is "analogous" to what is represents. An audio/Video signal that is recorded onto tape (since no one uses vinyl records anymore) in a magnetic pattern that in theory some way resembles the original signal. In video it is often outputed via RCA cables.

Film is also an "analog" medium.
